Designed to introduce ice climbing to brand new ice climbers and those looking to try  it without heading all the way to the mountains. This program is the first part to any ice climbering experience.

 

Over 2 hours participants will learn:

• Ice climbing and belaying equipment basics

• Tool placement

• Body positioning

• Footwork

• Safe partner climbing and ice safety

Join a supportive community of women as you build strength, confidence, and technical skills in Leading Ladies, a multi-week ice climbing & dry-tooling course designed for women of all climbing backgrounds. Designed specifically for women looking to get on ice this winter, this program will help you develop the basics and get on ice in a fun and empowering environment.
